This was such a fun wedding party! We went to Devou Park and the Main Strauss area for photos. Marie and Cary are so sweet and I think we got some amazing photos! I had a hard time selecting only ten for the blog!

Katie and Kasey

Katie and Kasey's engagement session was held in downtown Cincy and Devou Park. This was a perfect mix of urban and park settings. They're another great couple to work with. They were so comfortable with each other in front of the camera. I think their wardrobe was a great selection, keeping with their personal styles and also coordinating color with each other! Katie seems to be a very creative person and I'm excited to see all the details she selected for her wedding day.

Kara and Andrew

Kara and Andrew came in town to have their engagement session this past weekend. We went to Spring Grove Cemetery, one of my favorite places on earth! They were so great to work with and willing doing what it takes to get a great shot. For example, standing in Ivy ( in heels). I'm looking forward to working with them again on their wedding day!

Happy Birthday Clare!

Clare is one years old and too cute! This is such an exciting age, she doing so much for the first time. Clare is always happy and I had the best time playing with her. These are just a few of my favorites!

2 Recent Engagement shoots!

Two wonderful couples I have coming up later this year! Both couples are so sweet and I'm really looking forward to their weddings! With the rainy season among us, the Krohn Conservatory and Union Terminal are some great inside ideas!















Jennifer and Jim were so wonderful to work with, they're easy going people. We went to Union Terminal and stop by Downtown on our way home! Great shots in both locations!












Kathleen and Matt are a sweet couple! You can see how much in love they are just being around them. We went to the Conservatory for their photos.

So with my wedding season going into full force next month, the family and I have been outdoors every chance we get! This weekend we went to a great fishing lake (kid friendly) in West Chester called Voice of America Park. I thought it would be fun to collect things that have to do with spring. It turned out to be a great idea since the fish weren't biting!

We used filing folders, stapled two sides shut and decorated the cover to make our "pocket of Spring". The kids found some great spring plants and critters. We took photos of the things they found and put them in the "pockets". The kids got to use a "big" camera and we're pretty proud of the results!
