Meredith and Esteban Engagement

I was so excited when Meredith and Esteban asked me to be their wedding photographer. Meredith is also a photographer and it's very flattering to know she likes my work! We started their shoot in downtown Cincinnati and went to Union Terminal and then to Covington for a few quick photos on the Roebling Bridge. These are just a few of my favorites!

Elijah's turning One!!!

He's Walkin', He's Runnin', He's Bustin' a Move! Can you believe Eli has been walking since he was 8 months old! I thought my son walked early at 9 month. When his mom told me that, I was in shock! All I could say was, Congratulations, get him a helmet.
Elijah is my best friend's son, I love him to pieces! He turns the Big One in less than a month. Happy Birthday Eli!!

Emily and Alex

One of my favorite shots from the day!

The little flower girl ran out of petals in the middle of the isle. She stop for a good 30 second, shrugged her shoulders and went on! Kids make the precession so entertaining!

The bride's Dad said to me, "make sure you have the camera on right before we walk." I never expected the hillbilly teeth to come out! He was determined to make her laugh so she wouldn't cry. It worked!

I love the Beta fish!! My husband and I did this at our wedding too and I haven't seen it since!

I was just about due for a good old guarder toss. People just don't get excited over the traditional games like they use too!

These guys did! That's awesome!

Emily and Alex were married in Oxford Ohio. They are both recent graduates from Miami. I love their reasoning on this location. Both of their families were from out of town and they didn't think it was fair to make one travel and not the other. Plus, none of their friends could afford to travel, being they are all recent college grads. I think we all can relate!

Connor

Meet Connor.

I love this shot!

Connor and his family were recommended to me by another client of mine. His mother, Delois, and I hit it off from the start. I met them at their house for the first shoot. I love this, because the children are comfortable and it gives us a great chance to capture their personalities. Also, I love the use of personal items within a photo. These are just a few of my favorites from their shoot!

Jesse and Nathan

Big sister love!

Love this shot! This was taken inside the trailer upstairs in the Un-museum.

Jesse and Nathan were married this July at the Contemporary Art Center in downtown Cincinnati. This is one of my favorite places, I love the all the architecture and natural light along with the gallery spot lighting. They had had the most wonderful caterer that night as well, Funky's Catering. The food was excellent, the waiters were so professional and they are willing to take that extra step.
I decided this time around that I wanted to show more candid moments. I do love taking the portraits, and it one of the reason why I love my job so much. But, I also truly enjoy experiencing the excitement within the couple's family and friends!
Jesse and Nathan along with their family were absolutely wonderful to work with. I only wish the happy newly weds lived in Cincinnati, so I knew I would work with them more!
